Dreamweaver Studio 8: Crashing On Startup And Close

Go to the Dreamweaver 8 folder in Application Data folder. Delete the Configuration files OR rename the folder. Either way it will recreate the folder again. I would rename it though or backup your SiteCache folder first. Then restart your Dreamweaver.

When you restart Dreamveaver, there’s a search for SiteCache. Click STOP fast. Then it works. This worked great for me.

For Windows 7: users/{username}/library/application support/macromedia/common/8/Sites/

For those of you on Vista, you can find the same site cache in:
users/”username”/AppData/Roaming/Macromedia/Dreamweaver 8/Configuration/SiteCache/
If you delete these caches, it also fixes the crashing.
